The Media's Warped Sense of Perspective

This article by Jeff Jacoby is excellent. While I was very angry that Mel Gibson said what he did (not only was it wrong, but it played into the hands of those who cried anti-semitism against "The Passion of the Christ"). However, lets keep some perspective about the degree of offenses, especially given the difference in the contrition between the two men (one was very contrite, one wasn't). HT Hugh Hewitt
